729 West 181st Street, New York, NY 10033 Fort Washington church is part of Collegiate Church of New York, a corporation established in 1628. “Grounded in its historic past, but fully
invested in an of the future” Fort Washington church has a strong mission statement to help it’s community. Currently, the church occupies 90% of the spaces, which includes Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, Gymnasium and a two story addition for supporting facilities. The addition is not in sound structural condition and will soon need to be demolished.
Project Scope:
- Expansion of existing institutional facilities,
- Demolition of existing two story addition and exterior facade repairs to Fellowship Hall,
- New three story addition to house Classrooms and tenants spaces above ground levels and supporting facilities at cellar,
- New Gathering Hall serving as a hub between adjacent Sanctuary and all other space
